It does and you're right about that. However, the flaw in it assumes the loss of an asset or assets without a return of an equal or greater assets.

we need o/line much more then we need wr in my opinion . and even at that i am more about signing a FA then trading assets to get one . in my experience holding out/in in TC almost always the dreaded soft tissue injury in the legs

assess our team , win what you can , and then have a plan of attack next year to address shortcomings .

I am counting on Joe Whitt and the DB coaches to figure something out/coach someone up at CB. I think the team is in pretty good shape at safety and nickel.

I think some of this is overreacting to what was seen at a scrimmage. We have not seen the starting OL 5 and may have a slightly different perspective after today's game.

Unlike previous management groups, when I read that report about this one getting him (Daniels) sliding lessons from MLB players or coaches, I knew that their top priority was to protect their investment.

Unless, there's something unrevealed about guys like Coleman, I can't see this group not being focused on making further moves to protect Daniels, especially his blind side. So, when it comes to this OL, this is not, I repeat, NOT, a circumstance where taking the season to assess, or see what they have is pertinent.

It is important to remember they aren't game planning. They want film on guys in a game situation. Winning isn't the goal, evaluating players is. DQ doesn't want to put anything on tape for other teams to evaluate. That will be saved for Game 1 of the actual season.
