We gotta beat these fuckers once. I know we aren't at our best right now with the fielder situation and several pitchers dinged up, but I'll be damned if these guys come in and sweep us. Really really hate these guys and someone has to bean Bautista while he's here for the crowd and for what he did last year.

How about concentrating on winning the games and less hating. Bautista wins if you bean him. He is a jerk and loves the attention. Beat him on the field.

Just think, he won't be 22 until after the season is over. Maybe it's all coming together for him and by 2017/18 we may see in Arlington.

Oh, and thanks for posting these stats.

I wasn't familiar with Ryne Slack at Frisco. Nice line on him.
Two of our best pitching prospects aren't even included. Tate and Matuella.

I want to beat the Blue Jays most of all, but I certainly wouldn't be opposed to Bautista seeing an inside pitch or three in a game that has already been decided. Nothing close to his head or anything though.

Perez (1-2) Dickey (1-4) on Friday, with Lewis (2-0) Estrada (1-2) for Sat, and Ramos (0-2) Sanchez (3-1) on Sun.

So the match-ups aren't awful really.

On paper, yeah. Rangers have a way of crumpling that paper and dropkicking it into the wastebin.

I mean, they were a few plays away from both getting swept by the White Sox and also sweeping them. White Sox are a top level team right now, so the Rangers can hang with the best of them.

There's just no way to predict what Rangers team is going to show up, day in and day out. It's frustrating.

I'm thinking they set up inside a few times...almost expect it this trip

Matt Ball is a 21 year old pitcher who has had bad numbers since being drafted 3 tears ago. His 4.50 ERA and his 1.37 WHIP this year in low A ball is the best he has looked. He has been used strictly in relief this season.

Wonder what the next roster move is? Have to have a spot for Yu. Could play the waiver game. Or maybe roster and OF. Thoughts?

I would imagine Ramos would go down when either AJ or Yu comes back and either Claudio or Faulkner when the other one comes back.

There is an open spot on the 40 now for when someone is ready to come off of the 60 day DL.

Darvish threw 54 pitches in 4 innings tonight for Round Rock. He gave up 1 ER on 1 hit and 2 walks with 4 strikeouts.

Gallo and the rest of his teammates were exiting the showers in the tiny visitors clubhouse in Des Moines, Iowa when word the came down.

"I just looked around and said: 'He ain't coming back here'," Gallo said. "He is a freak. He doesn't ever feel pressure. All I want is to be up there with him."

Hope Joey comes up at some point and those 2 do some pretty special things in Rangers uniforms for years

Rangers' Joey Gallo: Could return next weekend
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Gallo (groin) will report to the Rangers' extended spring training facility Saturday and he hopes to come off the 7-day disabled list next weekend, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The highly-touted prospect was given an initial timetable of roughly 3-4 weeks when his MRI on May 5 revealed a Grade 1 groin strain. However, it looks as though Gallo could get back on the field on the earlier end of that timetable as he is optimistic about his chances to be activated by next weekend. Gallo is slugging .642 with seven home runs at Triple-A Round Rock this season.

I'd like to see them try Gallo at 1st next year.
