I had Reggie Bush and Davone Bess offered to me for Chris Johnson and Dwayne Bowe. I am really inclined to take it because I really want Bush. Am I giving up to much?

Must be PPR - if Bowe is starting for you, you can't do it. Bess shouldn't even be on a roster. I like Bush more than CJ1K in PPR, but not that much more.

It just became Doug Martin, CJ1K and Bowe for Trent Richardson, Bush and Bess. I'm not too upset because Bowe is my WR2 and I'd feel confident going in with either TY Hilton or Golden Tate as my WR2.

I'm one of Bowe biggest critics, but I still think "giving" him for Bess is too steep. Can you turn Bess into someone else? T-Rich and Martin are kind of a wash, as are Bush and CJ (I think CJ's rush production makes up for Reggie's pass production advantage). So Bowe for Bess seems a little steep.

I do like Norv Turner and Brandon Weeden more than Mike Sullivan and Josh Freeman, so maybe T-Rich deserves a higher ranking from me. I also like Stafford WAY more than Locker, so on some level, if you won't miss Bowe, you're on the right track.... but can't you try to get someone other than Bess?

This is what's making me not worried about Bowe. Besides, what #1 WR has ever had a good year with Alex Smith?

Sox don't you dare give away Chris Johnson for that man! Have you seen the wholes the Tenn Oline have been creating? defenses won't lay a hand on Chris Johnson.

TRich and Doug Martin are really not a wash. Martin is a better receiver and plays for a better offense. TRich is very good, but there is a reason Martin is going top 3 in pretty much every draft.

I thought the first deal wasn't terrible, but the second one has gotten worse.

I completely disagree with everything here. Richardson is every bit the receiver, and I'd take the Browns offense this year. They have a better offensive line, and a much better offensive coordinator. The only reason Richardson is not being drafted as high is because of injury questions, which are the only reason I have some trepidation about this deal.

I'm a big Bucs fan, but I think Richardson with Turner could do great things this year. One thing with the Bucs as they've been concentrating on defense so I can see them possibly playing closer or ahead more games then behind passing but regardless, I think Richardson and Martin are close enough to be a wash. Martin had that huge 53 point game which skewed things a bit, still think he's a top 5 RB but also believe the same with Richardson this season

Why are you asking for advice? You seem to know it all already. If you think TRich is better than Martin, take the deal. You may be right on your "projections", but you are losing big time in terms of player values today.

CJ's value should be very close to Bush's in PPR and you are paying a pretty ridiculous premium here.

Im kind of with Sox here. Im high on T RICH, not that my opinion matters to you guys but Norv has had some great backs in the past and has chosen to run them inside the 10. T Rich if healthy I think is a top 3 or 4 guy. As far as Bowe goes, I do understand the A Smith factor, but Andy Reid throws the football.

I ask for the same reason anyone does, to get another point of view. Maybe there's something I don't know about when it comes to these players.

I really don't think CJ is close to Bush in a PPR. Shit, Bush could beat Larry Centers' record for catches by a RB in a season in that offense. Maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am, because I ended up not doing the trade. Tennessee threw to their backs a little over a third as much as Detroit did in 2012, and I'm just really thinking of the upside. CJ will have more yards on the ground, no doubt, but I could see a potential 40-50 receptions separating them unfortunately. Like I said, with all the variables, that's why I come on here and ask.

OK. Even if Martin and TRich are a wash (I don't think they are, although TRich is top 6 in my book too), he is still giving CJ and Bowe for Bush. That is classic over paying for a specific player that the other owner obviously knows he has a mancrush on.

asks for advice then argues........do the deal

So if you ask for advice and someone says something about 2 of 6 players involved in a deal that you (and others) disagree with, but since you asked you should automatically agree with him?

From here on out, if I ask for advice in a thread, assume it isn't a request for you to weigh in on.
