Good evening, all!

I am agonizing over a potential free agent pickup. Appreciate any advice you can provide.

Right now, I have Tony Romo and Eli Manning as the QBs on my roster.

One of the guys in my league dropped Cam Newton so he could pick up Terrell Pryor.

So, the dilemma: do I keep Romo and Eli, or do I drop one of them to pick up Newton? If so, which one should I drop?

Thanks!

Sean

Drop either one you want to pick up cam. I personally would drop eli for cam, but thats just my preference. Unless you have the number 1 waiver, you probably wont get him. The guy who dropped him is a moron.

That's exactly what I did--dropped Eli and picked up Cam. Thanks!

I know it seems crazy right now that move but I will tell you this. Pryer is much, much faster for what it is worth.

Cam runs at 4.58 speed and Pryor at 4.38. Also I believe Pryor posses the stronger arm. Side note: I have always said i wish the combine would measure distance throws and miles per hour throws for rookie QBs as another stat to help determine their worth. I think Pryor throws a major heater of the likes of Flacco and Kaeps. He needs work on his touch passes but he could blow Newton out of the water because of the fact he can get away and buy time. Also he is huge.

Now I agree dropping Cam is up there with some of the more stupidest moves ever cause he could have gotten something really good back, but as for who has more fantasy points at the end of the year. Id almost have to take Pryor! Just my opinion not trying to ruffle any Cam Newton lover's feathers here as I am one of them. Just think Pryor could be this years Cam is all. Remember Cam was underrated too before the start of his rookie season, I remember I drafted him in the last round. What a nice pick he turned out to be that year.

Cam is a stud because he can throw too. Pryor may be a low end fantasy play because of his running ability, but it takes more than a big arm to be a successful NFL passer. Accuracy and ability to read are more important. Pryor does not have either, at least not yet.

Foot, you aren't in this league with Seanmerc, are you?

Being new to these boards and the MBBRL, i'm still getting acquainted with everyone, but i'm beginning to suspect that The Foot has a unique thought process...
