Tipoff is damn neared upon us.........8pm.......on Wednesday.

I said it before and I'll say it again.....they're all "must wins".....but this game will be the difference in us either going 10-8 or 12-6.

We will not be favored to win, and probably should not be favored. We need to get this one.......get this one and we solidify our current status as a hot team. Get this one and it's 6 wins in a row......3 in a row on the road.

Get this win to show the doubters that we are not backing down off this bubble.

I'm listening to Matt Davison on the radio right now and I'll tell you what......that guy is a great fan......

Illinois has LOST 10 of their last 12 games. They won @ Penn St (Feb 9th) and @ Minnesota (Feb 19th)

They are 0-5 at home since January 15th. Those losses were to Purdue, Michigan St, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio St respectively.

Obviously those last 4 home losses are nothing to be ashamed of, but it won't be viewed that way by the public or committee.

We gonna need another embarrassment thread from Brasky.

This team is just so hard to analyze.

They have 2 guys who can flat out score. We have to keep up the stifling Defense.

This is that type of setup that has letdown written all over it. We already beat this team, and this time we're on the road where we don't have a crowd to get us back into the game if we get into a hole.

I really think our Defense is gonna have to be unreal in the first 5 minutes to ensure we get off to a good start.

Yea, I'm quite concerned.

It's been quite a while since Nebraska has gotten into a hole on the road......and actually, the last time that happened we got our asses whooped.

I look back at the Michigan State game and we really came out and punched them in the mouth early with unexpected 3's and Seahawks style Defense.

If we don't do that right off the bat, I think we'll be in trouble. Coming from behind on the road is not something I feel comfortable with these guys doing yet.

If the Huskers play defense like they have been, this will be a fun one. There's nothing I like better than seeing good defensive team basketball.

Keep the turnovers under 10 and I think the Huskers have got a chance. Not a sure thing by any means, but it helps.

If Illinois gets into one of those grooves where everything falls, there's not much you can do.

Maybe this will be the game we've been waiting for from Gallegos. The dudes open all the time, he just can't buy a bucket.

Ray probably is due though.

I remember he got into a slump last year and then all of a sudden went off after a while.

It was like after everyone forgot about him he decided to make his comeback.
