Post that on the Nebraska board, then duck...
I am not buying that ANYONE would want to move away from the most stable, well run league to the least stable, least well managed league. Texas was given as a reason for Nebraska bailing out of the B12, so why they would rejoin the B12 or another league with Texas as the key school would be a mystery.
I couldn't imagine them leaving the B11, with the HUGE research money coming into the school, the stability, the prestige, just to get a few more football players. If there is any truth to them wanting to come back to the B12 it is cultural or political, not anything to do with football. There has not been a single move in conference that had even a little thought of anything other than money or stability.I think the reason would be recruiting..I believe that Nebraska has struggled to get that Mid Western kid to campus..
What I would like to see is a merger of sorts of all the leagues. It sucks that Vandy, Purdue, Illinois, IAST, etc are all making huge money from other teams success and hard work. How awesome would it be if the B11 and B12 were to merge, make a football league and an other sports league, only bad thing, I would venture we would be in the crappy one, the ACC may dislike us, but the B11 HATES us.I might buy a BIG/Big12 merger
No chance. Just some idiot writer trying to get clicks on article.
