It is, but most of us here didn't think the huskers deserved a bowl. We were more happy for the extra practices than anything. That being said, yes I'm glad they got a bowl and even more happy, and surprised, that they won.

Did you see how many passes TA threw tonight? Only 19 of them! How bout that for a winning formula for this team, that should have been utilized the whole debacle of a season?

Nebraska DID deserve the bowl bid as much as any of the other 5-7 teams that played this season.

I can see where you're coming from. But the win was huge. I think they proved they belonged there. A lot of close calls for Nebraska this year. But they played a solid game when it counted. I got your point, but I do like more bowl games, and any college football fan should. Also, with Riley's propensity for losing 5-7 seasons, this gives Nebraska a better chance to go bowling by having more bowl games.

I agree. I think it sucks that he was pretty much wasted after he ran for 70 yards on 7 carries against Illinois. A good coach would have seen just how valuable he was, and utilized him much more, and also reined in TA's passing numbers. A winning season would have been nice. TA only passed 19 times and Nebraska won impressively! Who would've thunk it?!

Now I can't hope for some pressure, because you say I shouldn't? I wasn't being critical of the defense. Don't be like the shithead here that got on my ass because I said only way we could win this game was by running the ball for the most part, and guess what? TA was limited to 19 passes, which I had said many times before, he should be limited to 15 to 20 passes per game. Also Nebraska RAN THE BALL, RAN THE BALL, RAN THE BALL TO VICTORY! My prediction of Nebraska 34-28 was pretty close because of the proper way to call a football game offensively with the players we have. I absolutely KNEW Nebraska would win if Riley did what SHOULD HAVE been done the whole season. I also knew the defense would leak a little bit, but that's mainly because UCLA is no slouch offensively. A winning season would have been had by using this formula for winning the whole debacle of a season.

I guess you read that incorrect as our DL barely even got close enough to say something to Rosen all game, after the ball was thrown obviously
