Can't wait for this one.
I might even be alive when it's played.
I'd listen to the Florida State song 100,000 times before I listen to Boomer Sooner 5 times.
Watching any Oklahoma game is like this...
First down! BOOMER SOONER!
We gained a yard! BOOMER SOONER!
We caught a pass! BOOMER SOONER!
TOUCHDOWN! BOOMER SOONER, repeat 50 times!
Someone said Stoops! BOOMER SOONER
We saw our own logo! BOOMER SOONER
I thought about a wagon! BOOMER SOONER
I swear the song is played 500 times a game or more.
During the 1983 Bedlam game at Oklahoma State in Stillwater, the Sooners fell behind 20-3 early in the 4th quarter. Stillwater police took Gene Thrailkill (the OU Band Director) off the field for not having a sideline pass. Incensed, Thrailkill told the Pride to "start playing and don't stop until we're ahead!" The band complied, and played "Boomer Sooner" non-stop – and after roughly 300 times, the Sooners were ahead 21-20 which turned out to be the final score with an Oklahoma victory. Barry Switzer and the Sooners awarded the Pride of Oklahoma the game ball, and labeled it "The Day The Pride Won" as proof.
Who else is going to post 10 hours of the most absurdly terrible song in history?
bless your heartI'd listen to the Florida State song 100,000 times before I listen to Boomer Sooner 5 times.

Pretty sure most Husker faithful with half a brain knew this was goina happen
(not to take away from your prediction)
There was a large amount of people upset with the hire of MR instead of SF in 2015, i may be wrong with saying a majority but i knew a good bit of people predicting it.On September 1st 2017?
Yeah right.
Frost had just come off a (6-7) season at UCF and Riley had just come off a (9-4) season.
If you'd said most knew this was gonna happen come Dec 2017, then you'd have a point.
.
Until they walk through the trophy room.
What happened?
Coaching, Derpus.
Glad you didn't blame it on leaving the B12.
You were shit 10 years prior to that.
