I woke up this morning to flashbacks of the whole "Osborne can't win the big one" thing - seems now tho it's more like "Riley can't win a good one period". Things got to be changing so I have a great feeling about the Minnie game. Please Huskerz, don't break my Big Red Heart again.

i know it's early in the week, any word on the injury front? it sure would help to get some LBs and DLs back for this game. Also, did Westy get hurt against Wiscy? He seemed to disappear in the 2nd half and i don't remember him being on the field as much.

Minnesota went to the ground to beat Purdue, and Leidner is not that great at throwing, so this will definitely be a true test for our defense. If Leidner puts up 300yds in the air, Banker or at the minimum Stewart needs fired.

Offensively, will definitely be interesting to see if DL and MR can stick to the run as mentioned in this thread Minn's D isn't nearly as good against the run but is one of the best passing Ds we'll face this year. the option seemed to disappear the last 2 weeks and i thought both Ill and Wiscy would have been susceptible to it.

should be another barn burner.
