Does this remind anyone else of tOSU game? Questionable passion and play calling for 3 quarters and then the coaches and players show up in the 4th when the game is long over. Can't wait to hear another "I love how this team didn't give up" speech from lil red.
More Budweisers to come.
Prevent defense may have a bit to do with this as well. Besides, when you are up 34, you play differently.

I'm just frustrated dude. I never expected the team to be physically dominated by the Gophers.

I feel for you. I thought Nebraska was a 15-20 top team this year. They are definitely worse than i expected.

I just really think they have to try Farniok over at guard and go to Benhart at RT. OL can't be worse trying a different combination.
The inability of the 2019 offensive line to get a push and to hold block is just pathetic. Something has to give somewhere unless the staff is just going to ride these weak guys until better gets into the system. Every Scholarship is for 1 year and renewable. Perhaps it's time to cut the horrendous players and get juco help.

Defense from front to back is a cluster at this point. Minnesota out coached and out played Nebraska. These guys should be playing for pride but it is like they don't care.

Well. I stand corrected, Vedral was not the answer.

Big Red Overreaction was entertaining.

Bright spots during the Husker/Minny game came very late - Cade Warner ran precise routes and caught the ball so put him in earlier. Jaron Woodyard is a deep threat receiver who drew a pass interference call with his speed. Brody Belt sort of reminds me of Rex in that he is a quick straight ahead runner. Anybody got anyone else that deserves mention for their good play?

Is Wandale Robinson injury as bad as I read?
He had a walking boot on. It is hard to gauge injuries with this team as we heard Martinez came out of practice sweating this week so who knows - stationary bike or water bottle misting?
:noidea:

completely agree on these. they need to take shots down the field, even if it's on of TA's YOLO bombs and hope it hits once in awhile. teams are simply stacking the box because we haven't proven we will even attempt to throw deep.

Another bright spot at times was Noah Vedral. Tom Brady would refuse to play behind this offensive line out of fear for his life.

i'd agree with that. he made the best of everything he could. was decisive. at least attempted to throw balls into tight windows. i think there were some instances where he could have thrown the ball earlier and kept himself out of trouble but when you don't get many chances against live competition you don't always have that internal clock of when to throw.

i also couldn't see the WRs and how covered they were. just seems like if you really know where the WRs should be, just take a shot and put one out there in front of them where either they'll get it or no one will.

Vedral had a few decent plays. I wasn't impressed with his passing. I still prefer Martinez in there.
Judging QB play is difficult when the line sucks so bad.

Judging anything is difficult. The whole offense is a dumpster fire.

If I judge anything, I judge the players.
