Well guise, I've come to the conclusion that we should probably lay an egg this weekend......

I really hate to say it, but seriously......look back in recent History. Every time we grow comfortable as a fanbase, the team seems to do the same. This is ultimately what leads to the extreme meltdowns that we have here at SportsHoopla.

We start thinking with common sense.........we look at the stats, and previous games, and we start to reason as to why we should win this game.

And then we lose. And then we meltdown.

I know all about it........

But it seems all too familiar. It almost doesn't even seem possible for Bo Pelini to beat Northwestern, Michigan, and Michigan State in consecutive weeks..........especially when 2 of those come on the road.

Here we are with all the momentum again.......you go to get a glass of water from the faucet, and you can't even get one, because the only thing coming out is straight red kool-aid.........

We've been here......we've done this. I'm not liking the state of where everything is right now. It says more about the coaching staff than it does about anything else though that we can't ever string together a bunch of important wins.

I'm just not going to give Bo any credit after stringing together an amazing 2-game win streak.........

I mean, even as outstanding as that is...........we lost to Northwestern last year........and Washington the year before.............and Iowa State the year before..........

Get my drift?

I have all of thee faith in the world in the Huskers.......yet at the same time, I don't see why I should drink any of Bo's kool-aid at this point. It's always given me heartburn in the past.....

It's Nebraska that's favored. I knew something didn't seem right

NU opened -1
Went to -1.5
Now -2

Over/Under still 44.5

Either way I stick to my prediction that Nebraska will win and cover.

I think Vegas is wayyyy over compensating for the intangibles.

ie..road, let down.

If Bell cannot run the ball on NU than Mich St could be in big trouble.

Taking into account NU's turnover margin, the let-down theory, and road game, that's about right.

I figured gamblers would take points, but get skurred giving away more than 1 or 2.
