I believe the game plan needs to be RUN RUN RUN and then RUN SOME MORE.

A conservative offensive game plan and an aggressive defensive one is a winning formula this week.

Ride our I-Backs and our secondary to victory. Force MSU into 3rd and longs consistently and we will have a couple turnovers. Win field position. Hold onto the ball.

Keep forcing 3 and outs and keep pressing the issue and pounding the rock. They will be worn down/tired in the 2nd half.

That right there should be the game plan for every single one of our road games from here on out.

I figure that Taylor will be good for about 7 turnovers, our line won't block anybody, defense won't be able to tackle anybody, corners will suck, Front seven will be locked up all afternoon, Bo can't coach, dropped INT's, Bo needs Suh to have a dominating defense.......

Did I get them all RA?

I seriously do think it has to do with the fact that they see Taylor fuckin' up on the road against a Defense that really gets after it.......

He fucked up against UCLA.........and he has fucked up in the last 3 games, but has gotten away with it the last 2 games. (NW with dropped picks......Michigan with inability to turn turnovers into points)

You know, even taking that into consideration I don't see it.

I personally think Mich St's defensive numbers are inflated in a bad offensive conference.

NU's been playing good rushing defenses for 4 straight games now and still have the 7th best rushing offense in the nation. NU has run the ball well this year.

Michigan's pass defense was arguably as good as Mich St's.

NU's pass defense is as good as Mich St's.

If Bell doesn't run the ball well. Mich St's in trouble..

I figure that Taylor will be good for about 7 turnovers, our line won't block anybody, defense won't be able to tackle anybody, corners will suck, Front seven will be locked up all afternoon, Bo can't coach, :L dropped INT's, Bo needs Suh to have a dominating defense.......

Did I get them all RA?

LOL

Watching Michigan State vs. Wisconsin right now.....

Michigan State lives off of quick strikes and flanks.......when they aren't feeding the ball to Bell.

Bringing thee heat may disrupt those quick passes and we may tip some balls up into thee air for a couple interceptions.

Michigan State seems to focus primarily on gap control......they don't bring much pressure, as they rank 101st in the country in sacks.

wut i miss?

He asked you if he was being negative enough while JJM (Rosie) has been more negative (or back and forth) and you have been more positive the last few days.

lol

I'm just trying not to let myself slip into this comfortable zone that we get ourselves into year after year.......and then they let us down.

We got the big win we needed......now we need to duplicate it. I hope that Pelini can get the guys to understand that. Michigan State might as well play their asses off......they want to defend their home field......they want to get revenge from last year........they have nothing to lose.

I scurred :dhd:

Again, my biggest fear is Taylor turning it over deep in our own territory, and then our Defense getting back on their heels........because that is easy for a non-dominant Defense to do in that situation.........and then Michigan State just pounds us for a 3 play 18 yard scoring drive with Bell.

2 turnovers deep in our own territory is all it takes to lose this game on the road in these circumstances.

I get ya, that last game had a lot of good play. We seen that so many times though that I don't want to think we can keep doing it through the rest the season.

If we do then I will say Bo reached the next level but it's only one game right now.

If Bo indeed does get the team to move forward and rattle off 5 more consecutive wins to reach the Rose Bowl.............I will indeed start to give Bo some credit.

As you said, that is such a huge IF right now...........I'm trying to imagine Bo winning 7 straight to end the season, including a Conference Championship..........even in a Conference that is down like it is..........it's hard to imagine.

Oh

Tom can't silence me from speaking my opinion.

Each game is different. IMO, this one happens to play towards NU's strengths so I expect them to win.

Michigan State has held every opponent they've played under their average in Rushing Yards this season :dhd:

However, if ye look at what Ohio State was able to do on the ground vs. Michigan State in East Lansing.........that is encouraging.
