Does DiNozzo have ties to Chicago? He played basketball for the Buckeyes. Not sure where he grew up, though.

Procedurals aren't my thing but it's my wife's favorite show and I watch it with her. The plots are ok if you like that sort thing, but it's the cast that makes that show. They have great chemistry and he's a huge part of that... 2nd only to Harmon I think. It will be interesting to see who they replace him with and what's with him quitting anyway ? He's good in that role but I doubt anyone is throwing piles of money at him to star in their vehicle.

very true... It is taking forever for Bishop to mold with Tony and Company, unlike Ziva. I am starting to warm up to Bishop (probably because it's Emily Wickersham and I love her) but you are right she doesn't seem to have the same chemistry with the "team." I blame the writers on that one, not the actual actress.

he is passing up what $250,000 an episode but I guess he felt like it was his time to leave. I just hope (as many people have mentioned) that they don't kill him off (like Kate) so he could possibly return in limited roles.

I read he had a developmental deal with the network. I could see another NCIS spinoff with him being the star.

A few months ago I think he guest starred on a different NCIS (I forget if it was LA or NO). It's possible he transfers to one of those shows as a lead.

He was in NO AND LA. It was a semi cross-over event with the NO one, which I think he has a better chance at being in than LA

He would not work there at all. He makes a GREAT clown on a drama, but he would be a horrible straight man on a comedy.

I wonder if his leaving has anything to do with his no contest please to DUI. Either way, the show won't be the same. They will either kill him off or have him go off into the sunset with Ziva. I say blast his ass like they did Kate, and have Gibbs on a crazed manhunt like he did with Ari

I actually hate her character. Everything she does is off-camera. She beats up Hanna, but all we see is the teams reaction. She beats G up the wall, all we see is the teams reaction.

She has played some action in a few episodes. I really do like her!

I enjoy the show and the Dinozzo character but after 13 yrs. of doing the same thing he probably wants a break, I wish him all the best.

I was never actually a fan of Ziva.

I like the show for Gibbs, and all the rest is noise.
