I would expect that he will finally get his own team. Gibbs has been pressuring him to take that next step recently, so I am guessing we already know how he will leave the show. This also leaves the door open for him to get his own show after a few years if he wants to go that route.

I read he had a developmental deal with the network. I could see another NCIS spinoff with him being the star.

I watched the first half of the first season of NO. It did nothing to capture my attention, so I removed it. I have last night's ep on DVR because of the cross over, but have not watched it yet.

The promo for NO turned me off to even think about watching.

I didn't watch the cross over last night since I switched the the cross over between Chicago Fire and Chicago Med and will continue to watch Chicago PD tonight

Procedurals aren't my thing but it's my wife's favorite show and I watch it with her. The plots are ok if you like that sort thing, but it's the cast that makes that show. They have great chemistry and he's a huge part of that... 2nd only to Harmon I think. It will be interesting to see who they replace him with and what's with him quitting anyway ? He's good in that role but I doubt anyone is throwing piles of money at him to star in their vehicle.
