NCAA Tourney

Some big games today... I have to work so my DVR will be working overtime.


WCHA: North Dakota vs. Denver
CCHA: Miami vs. Western Michigan
HEA: Merrimack vs. Boston College
ECAC: Yale vs. Cornell
Atlantic: RIT vs. Air Force

Probably the biggest game at the top in the WCHA, two really good teams that are going to be fighting hard.

Miami vs. WMU isn't what I expected, but Miami is a really good team and WMU showed they can run with the big dogs last night, so it should be interesting. Merrimack and Boston College could be a tight game as well, but I don't think I'll be able to catch that one, or the rest of the East. Hopefully some of these games are on ESPNU.

Odd, I didn't think any of those teams made the men's hoops tourney. I must not have been paying attention


All kidding aside, I wish college hockey was televised more often so we could actually have an easier time following. I know I havent followed it this year like I normally do.

I'll be rooting Yale out east, but the Wolverines and any other team from Michigan gets priority... I'm sure the Yale squad is devastated by my announcement...

Frattin with the Double OT winner for the Sioux. Denver should get a tourney invite though. If not it just means Matt Donovan signs with the Isles a bit sooner. Oh & the Gregoire kid is ours too!

Yup! The Joe was packed and the fans were whipped into a frenzy. Of course I was rooting for the Broncs, but Miami played a great game and really took over towards the end. They deserved and earned that win.
