So do they just issue refunds to all the preordered season tickets the new owners were selling? What about the new arena they were building?
Sucks for Seattle. I'm happy for Sacramento though. They love their Kings.

They do? They have been ranked 27th or worse out of 30 teams the last 5 years in attendence.

Not really fair since its the smallest arena in the NBA at only 17K seats. Most other teams are 18500+ with alot being 19K plus.
People used to say the same thing about the Penguins attendance 10yrs ago (using the ranking against them) when their old arena only held about 16,700.Not really fair since its the smallest arena in the NBA at only 17K seats. Most other teams are 18500+ with alot being 19K plus.

Funny how when Bennett wanted to move the Sonics back in 2008 that whole process was streamlined, but now when Hansen tries to move the Kings to Seattle, the whole mess gets bogged down and there's delays and delays, just long enough to get a deal done, which frankly, still doesn't even compare to the deal Seattle has had in place for months now.
I'm glad for the fans of the Kings I really am. I lived in Seattle when the Sonics were stolen, so although I don't watch the NBA, I saw how devastated some of the die hards were. But Bennett and Stern can go fuck off.
Wilbon said something about the Bucks might move there?
