Is Derrick Rose going to play on opening night? Or is 18 months not long enough of a recovery. I'll laugh my ass off if Kobe plays on opening night from a torn achilles barely 6 months old. The juxtaposition of these two injures would be comical.

In fairness to Rose I think he believes the knee happened because of all the other nagging injuries he had, in fairness it could easily have helped.

There are some really good games down the stretch. I will be watching most of the Nets, Warriors, Rockets and of course Heat at the start.

Chicago made an announcement a month or so ago that he will be ready. They made sure to get the word out so fans can buy tickets over the summer.

maybe that might've been where he was coming from, but i'm guessing it might be a thing of being TOO cautious. in the end he's the one that has to make the decision, I guess. it ain't like it's our careers on the line...
