It's a 2.5" by 2.5" patch just above the heart. It's not that big of a deal. I'm cool with it so long as it stays that way. I don't want it to end up like soccer where its the reverse; team logo is a tiny patch with huge sponsor logo on the jersey.

Yeah, read in the paper this morning that they have already approved it as a 3 year trial. Supposedly, it's only a 2.5" square, so hopefully it won't be too bad. Just don't want NBA jerseys looking like soccer jerseys.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turned into soccer.. Just do it in stages... Once people are used to the little logo, then make it a bit bigger... maybe on the back, then move it to the front.

We all know it wont "stay that way". It'll eventually progress to the point where the only spots of the jersey not covered by advertising will be the numbers and team name.

The problem, imo, is that this is how it starts. It's a small patch with one advertiser, then it becomes another patch from another advertiser, then some advertiser pays more for a bigger patch, etc.
