as far as Doc goes. i dont get why the league even cares. i get they have rules... but get rid of the rules and allow coaches to be traded as well. i dont see the problem. the C's are paying him like 7 million a year. they arent going anywhere, they are headed to rebuilding mode. they can pay almost anyone else 1 million a year to not make the playoffs.. or they can pay Doc 7 million to miss the playoffs. getting rid of doc is the best move for the C orgranization right now. this isnt a dump.. stern should allow it.

i think bynum is a douche for alot of reasons as well.. mainly parking in handicap spaces. but i dont see a problem with anything he has done since his trade. the 76ers traded for a player with suspect knees on the final year of his deal. some of this responsibility has to lay at the 76ers feet. hey, maybe they wont resign anyone, tank the season, and get the #1 pick. BRILLANT!

Don't forget about the bowling incident Flauge. That happened after the trade.

A future Hall of Famer might become available, so Billy King did his due diligence and made the call.
Multiple sources told the Daily News that the Nets GM inquired about Kevin Garnett’s desire to join Deron Williams in Brooklyn, but King didn't get an answer while uncertainty surrounds the Celtics.

Garnett, 37, has a no-trade clause in his contract, which he vowed not to waive last season. But circumstances changed dramatically with the Celtics following a first-round playoff loss to the Knicks, with GM Danny Ainge committing to rebuilding and Doc Rivers bolting to the Clippers.

A proposed deal that would’ve sent Garnett to the Clippers with Rivers was blocked by the NBA because it’s illegal to package a coach with players. Rivers’ new contract includes a stipulation that the Clippers and Celtics can’t swap players until the end of the 2013-14 season.

So Garnett and his two-year, $24.4 million contract are seemingly on the market. His teammate, Paul Pierce, is probably also on Brooklyn’s radar after being a target for consecutive trade deadlines.
As much as the Nets would love Garnett, it’s an unlikely pairing given the obstacles. Not only is it still unclear whether he’d agree to join the Nets -- which is what King was hoping to figure out by reaching out to a third party -- there’s also a very high hurdle of negotiating an inter-division trade.

From espnla.com

The Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Clippers have been discussing the possibility of completing a trade headlined by Magic shooting guard Arron Afflalo and prized L.A. point guard Eric Bledsoe in conjunction with Thursday's NBA draft, according to sources close to the process.

Sources told ESPN.com on Tuesday that a trade with those two players as the principals could happen as soon as this week and potentially could be expanded to include Magic forward Andrew Nicholson and a future first-round pick as compensation for the highly coveted Bledsoe.

According to a source, Cleveland offered the No. 1 pick, Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters to try and land Minnesota’s Kevin Love. But new Timberwolves president Flip Saunders won’t move Love.

Minny will regret this a few yrs from now when Love leaves in FA

I don't know, Love may love the fact that the Timerwolves didn't throw up to Cleveland. I think he was out regardless.

If that's true, then I think Minnesota may have dropped the ball here. Kevin Love isn't resigning in Minnesota. That seems like a pretty good haul over getting nothing for him when he leaves.

I like getting rid of Wallace's awful contract, but to do that it seems like we got to trade our most valuable asset Kris Humphries. Hopefully we can give less 1st round picks though because 3 seems like too much. I kind of like this trade even if Pierce and KG are very old mostly because it removes Wallace's horrible contract.

Seems like a lot to give up for a couple of old players. Good move to dump Wallace's terrible contract though. The Nets would end up with a potent starting lineup if KG and Pierce have anything more to give.

Woj is saying that the big Celtics/Nets deal has reached the ownership level. This one could happen soon.

I think Arison bites the bullet.
Miller stayed ready and played his way into the starting lineup during the most important games of the season.
If the plan is to keep the team together, then you keep it together.
When Wade misses games, Miller took his spot in the starting lineup and did fine.
The man can sit for 2 weeks, jump off the bench and hit shots like he's played every night.
He's unselfish, a good passer and rebounder. He gives you 100% night it and night out.
Perfect type of player to keep on the roster for one more season.
