I get retiring Hunters jersey...he won a Heisman.

USC has retired the jerseys of all 8 of their Heisman winners.

But Sanders? That makes no sense.

USC retired Caleb Williams jersey at the end of last season because he won the Heisman. But they've only retired the numbers of Heisman winners...so that's the standard there.

Apparently, Colorado has different criteria because, out of their now 6 retired numbers, only 2 have won the Heisman (Hunter and Rashaan Salaam).
