I guess Ohtani ain't playin'.

Apparently, he was recruiting Glasnow and is now recruiting Yamamoto.

I mean he is getting offer $300M+ so I would be shocked if the Dodgers forked up that much after Ohtani and they are paying Glasnow the 5 year deal - $136M.

Well, we know that 97% of Ohtani's deal is deferred and I don't know how true it is, but I recently read that, apparently at least part of Mookie and Freemans deals are also deferred.

So, they should be able to afford Yamamoto...especially with all of the money they'll make from Japanese fans and companies from having Ohtani and Yamamoto on the team.

Similar to what @msgkings322 has always posted re: the Warriors, money isn't a problem for the Dodgers.
