Herschel Walker tooIt’s too heavy with guys of the last 20 years. Any list that doesn’t have Barry Sanders at the top isn’t worth looking at.

Nope.Has a teams decision to keep a player that everyone said they should trade ever gone worse for both the team and player than the Angels decision to keep Ohtani?
I mean, I guess it depends on what you mean by "worst".
If we're talking about what they gave up for what they got...no, not even close.
Other owners might look at it that way because it set a precedent they didn't want or maybe women's groups because they see him as a predator who was rewarded.
But that would be about it.
Agreed, but with the word “electrifying” honestly no one is close to Barry Sanders.Herschel Walker too

Looking at his 2nd Tommy John means that the team that signs him is now just looking at a DH or someone who can be moved to corner OF or 1B. Makes no sense for teams to pitch him anymore. It would be problematic to use him as an 8th inning guy or closer. If Ohtani pitches again…it won’t be for another 2 seasons and even then, you’re likely only getting 1-2 seasons out of him as a pitcher. Dude’s elbow injury may cost him some 300-400 million dollars. This guy was looking at something that might have been 10-12 years 700 million dollars. Now? Not so much. He’s likely a 25-30 million dollar player if he’s a DH.Has a teams decision to keep a player that everyone said they should trade ever gone worse for both the team and player than the Angels decision to keep Ohtani?
The Angels are plagued. I mean it's not like they are managed well so they really did this to themselves but injuries have fucked them for a long time. Time to trade Trout too. Seems like the bats are there but they never address pitching.Has a teams decision to keep a player that everyone said they should trade ever gone worse for both the team and player than the Angels decision to keep Ohtani?
Reggie Bush was right there. Bush is one of the most electrifying players in history.Agreed, but with the word “electrifying” honestly no one is close to Barry Sanders.
No idea if true, but saw a rumor that said from shefty that KC was sending Chris Jones to TN for Hopkins and 2 first rounders.
seems a bit farfetched.

Paying Simmons and Jones at DT when they have so many other needs. No offensive weapons as it isNo way.
That would be a horrible trade for KC
Edit:
I read that as Jones and 2 firsts for Hopkins
Still think KC needs the edge rusher more than a name WR.
But my first take is clearly not right.
Tennessee would be foolish to make that deal.

Yep.
