You have to think there’s a plan for the money. They’re either looking to bolster a few positions or they’re looking to redo someone and take the extra room and apply signing bonus to this calendar year. You don’t create room for the sake of creating room.roll it lol
Build the worlds largest ice tubWhat do you think is the plan for the extra cash?
Lol yeah, that cat was kind of a dick...Said it last season, but worth repeating. The guy playing Larry Bird on Winning Time is really good at being Larry Bird

They won the game.Well, the Commanders are currently losing to the Ravens backups with most of their offensive starters playing the entire first half.
But, the bright side is that Howell actually looks pretty decent.
Hopefully I’m wrong on that one.
It’s actually not super hard to clear 52 mil next year. I just don’t see the move to clear cap and then not allocate it somewhere.it's obviously a pretty complex financial situation but they are still 52 mil to the bad versus next years cap. I'm guessing they will see what they can do to keep Amari around if they want to do so but with the 34 and cutting him post June next year they'd slide in under the current cap for next year but eat an additional 10 over the next 2 years (I think)
Chubb would be the extension most on their mind I'd think though. But he is 29 after 2024. Things don't go great from there for Rbs typically.

They’ve also put a lot of wear and tear on Chubb with a ton of usage. At least that’s how it seems from afar. How good is Jerome Ford?
He is obviously no Chubb. But if he can produce say 85% of what Chubb can, Browns have to consider letting Chubb walk.
Seems to be the way the RB market works now anyway.
They won the game.
Howell looks legit.Yes.
Thank you for that.
Do you read the time stamp on the posts?
I clearly wrote that during the first half when they were losing.
I think everyone here is capable of looking at the box score after the game is over and correctly determining who won.
Howell looks legit.
I know preseason doesn't matter a lot but I would be concerned if he was struggling against players trying to make a squad....he isn't. He looking really good.
I get RB not being valued but it just feels like overkill anymore. dude has 3 years in lol.

Shit....I'm not a Ford fan.
if there was anyone that was an adequate replacement it was Johnson.
But even with the market as is its not like 5 plus YPC guys just fall out of trees.
That must then entail moving some of the money back to this year’s cap with different players. I don’t know. The cap management stuff is so convoluted. I’ll trust the experts to know what they’re doing. I just know that experience has taught me when teams clear that much cap on the eve of the season that they’re looking to do something. How are they at LB and S? There are some guys looking to get paid at those positions.we will see man. all the rumblings out of cleveland are it is to stabilize the books for 2 seasons. They have pretty much an entire roster signed thru 24
I actually think the opposite, now Chubb had his injury history but they had Hunt for the past couple years and other than last year he got a lot of carries. Compared to the other too RB’s Chubb does not have the wear and tear imo. They’ve also put a lot of wear and tear on Chubb with a ton of usage. At least that’s how it seems from afar.
