Man, this case is getting even crazier...

I think for the judge to make her decision it's simple as to how credible she finds the 5 women who testified. OBJ, too, but more about the women. what is most odd if true is the NFL did not mention force, coercion, etc. in the hearing. Makes me at least think no suspension is possible....but I doubt it.

Agreed, but if at the end of the year Baker wants $25-30M to re-sign, Corrall could very well be the option moving forward (or a selection in next year's draft).

No question Baker could wind up somewhere else.

But Darnold is meh and Corral is a stop gap at best. Might not even be that.

I want to see Baker play a year at full health before I declare him Sam Darnold level of mediocrity.

The Baker saga is quite amazing. I thought the Browns turned a corner as an organization, but it is interesting that they could potentially be in a situation where they're paying for both Watson and Baker this season, and neither end up playing for them (this season).

True but worse would have been holding onto a guy when they had a chance to get someone they think is a lot better.

Thursday PFF's Mike Florio is saying the NFL & NLFPA aren't negotiating towards a settlement. Florio is reporting, along with Dan Garziano, that the NLFPA is pushing for no suspension.

Simply wow. It's not often I'm speechless. But you're 100% wrong in thinking for a second I've ever thought BM was a good QB.

I've been one of the more vocal Browns fans about how I don't think he's good from the moment my team drafted him. So how can you say I think he's better than he really is?

And while BM's numbers in Cleveland weren't that good they're still better than Darnold's.

And you still don't account for Darnold being in worse situations.

Four seasons and he's yet to make any real significant steps towards getting better. How many more years does he get a pass for mediocre/bad play?

It's not like he's losing games while putting up good numbers. His numbers across the board just aren't that good. And while some of that is obviously due to what he's had around him a good QB is supposed to make those around him better. Darnold hasn't done.

Then that person hasn’t been paying attention. Most victims of sexual assault get little to nothing in terms of recompense and violators are rarely held accountable.

So nothing his his fault? Four years and no real improvement in any categories but it's not on him.

Let me ask you this. Let's say Darnold played at Ohio State instead. Would you still say his mediocre/bad numbers were a result of his team but had little to do with his actual abilities? Like I said, he hasn't made any of his teammates better. Good QB's do that and he hasn't yet in any way.
