Eh, in college basketball, you can get away with playing youth; this isn't football. Kentucky uses this model every single year and I haven't heard Calipari once make this excuse (or at least I've never heard it). Memphis brought in two top 25 classes the last two years (this past cycle he was number 1). When you bring in talent, people, especially media are going to hold you to a higher bar.

Yep. If you're going to go with a roster of one and dones, this is going to happen. There are going to be games, especially during the regular season, where your team is going to be playing some G5 or some lower level P5 that has a bunch of juniors and seniors who are able to use their experience to overcome the talent gap and beat you.

That's the choice you made and you don't get to cry about it when it backfires a little bit on you.
