The USC coaching search is over.

Just announced on The Dan Patrick Show by USC Insider Will Ferrell that Nick Saban or Nick Saban's brother will be the next USC coach.

He couldn't remember which one though.

Sure they can still win games but their championship hopes are pretty much done now. Unless they go make a trade before the deadline. Hill or Siemen is not taking them to a Superbowl.

It would be smart for GB to go out and make a move. TB's secondary is still questionable but I think they still are up there with the Rams for obvious reasons.

I'd add in Miami. Not a title contender but have to think they thought they could compete for playoffs after a 10 win season (or was it 9, maybe?).

Nah, I wasn't expecting much out of them quite honestly. Well, we did take a significant step back. But the Phins are always a disappointment.

I disagree. That kid looked awful for basically the entire 2nd half. He was aided by some terrible penalties for the Bucs and that was without the defense having a week to actually game plan for him. Hill went 3-1 as starter and is better and can do more. Siemian isn't mobile so he is just a shitty pocket QB

Semian and Hill are both bad QBs.

Playing Semian at QB allows the Saints to better involve their best playmakers, Kamara, Hill and Michael Thomas if he ever returns.

If Hill is QB that will limit Kamara’s involvement. And that is bad for the Saints offense.

How so? I don’t think that has to be the case. I would think that Hill’s threat as a runner off of inside and outside zone looks should actually take one defender out of the equation.

Yeah I'm with you. Just sign Cam if you dont want to start Hill. Playing Siemian just confirms that you quit on the season

Pretty sure Siemen was a starter in Denver and he was bad, we already know what he can provide. Give Hill a chance, having to play for the QB run is just another threat. Not saying he will be good but hasn’t been given much of a chance

Bingo and if I'm not wrong, Sieman has not been good enough to even be #2 on a depth chart the last 2-3 seasons

You can scheme offense with an athlete like Hill in the same way you can Hurts.

It’s not like they have many choices at this point. Cam isn’t much of a better option either especially the way he played in NE

I think Semian is a better passer though.

Still not good, but better.

And that allows them to keep Hill in his normal role and utilize their other playmakers.
