To be fair, he got a nice reprieve in his formative years in the 90s
The curse was still there, never reaching the Super Bowl, John Elway breaking their hearts, etc

Watching the NLCS trophy presentation.

At every one of these, the owner, etc. always says "our fans are the greatest fans in the world".

Just once, I wanna see someone get up there and say, "our fans all suck, and we won in spite of them".

And in the Dodgers case would be true

Waiting 30 years to turn a profit is just laughably terrible business

The NBA struggled for years itself. In the 70's low tv ratings, low attendance and drug issues threatened to put the league out of business. There's a reason it's said that Magic and Bird saved the league.

The NBA may not have struggled for as long, but it did struggle for quite a few years.

With the size of the new tv deal, the league should be profitable going forward.

No way you or I know if having it adds to the NBA numbers or not. That has always been their stance and if they want to invest in it that’s up to them.

The nba would’ve made more money just throwing that money into growing internationally. China alone proved that

And even if you thought it might be working owners like Dolan basically making their objections Public show it’s not
