The Falcons defense was middle of the pack in ppg allowed.....wasn't terrible. They matched up well vs our offense.

I judge defense by yards allowed. They were at 398 and Raiders allowed 389 but both teams had a poor defense.

6 points is unacceptable against that defense

he threw for 320 yards and completed 75% of his passes last game. If he keeps that up it wont be close. He was easily a top 10- statistically top 5 QB the last 8 games of last season once he learned the offense and got comfortable with it. What was he? like 16-3 TD to interception the last 8 games and had a QBR #2 to Rodgers the last 8 games?

Might have been 1 INT. Only QB better per PFF was Mahomes.

Here's what I will say. If my team is in a must win game then give me Baker. I don't know if Carr ever won a must win game in his professional career

Josh Allen had 1 HC and 1 OC his entire career...if he didn't he would probably still be garbage (lets just be real he had a remarkable turnaround-nfl history remarkable).
Makes all the difference in the world. Baker was more NFL ready. People just fall in love with Allen for many reasons, even when he was awful bc the big arm, athletic. I get it but you're right, it isn't fair.

Technically all QB's are game managers, every single one of them. Some are great. Some are good. Some are mediocre. And some suck. I'd put Mayfield somewhere between good and mediocre. Don't ask for a specific number. Other than I can't put him in the top 10 right now.

I mean, if it was every GM I think that matters when it comes to tanking guys who have played a while. No doubt they have been way off on guys coming out of college.

I don't think he's held to a higher standard than other QB's. He's an easy guy not to like. His attitude when he first got to the league, although it's gotten better. And his 123 different commercials. It's like he's everywhere.

But the Browns have been an easy target of ridicule for 20 years. Which I think makes him an easier target. For some out there no matter what he does it won't be enough.
