Hard to overcome 3 turnovers and really like 4 because of the goal line tackle instead of a throw away kick the FG at the end of the half.
And they also should have tried a fg earlier in the first half but didnt.

Josh Allen doesn’t value the football, you can’t throw your way out of everything all the time. Still think he can fix it but it’s bs inning a theme.

Maybe he's losing on purpose so he can beat Miami, Baltimore, and KC on his way to a superbowl?

You know the Eagles are down bad when they are only -2.5 favorites against tampa
the Eagles defensive backfield is trash.

Bradberry and Slay were both retreads from the Giants and Lion, respectively. When the Eagles had a dominant pass rush- and when they were not quite so old- they were both pretty good.

Now that they are older and the Eagles pass rush is severely diminished- they look like crap. Slay is really old- Bradberry is 30 (which is kinda getting up there for DB's sometimes). They have a lot of work to do to fix the pass defense. They gave Byard a buncha of money at safety and he has been a disappointment. They basically have no solid young talent in the defensive back field.

in todays game having a bad secondary is a good way to get torched.

I’ve never seen a blindside block called on a guy staring at the play before…

Slay hasn’t even played the last 3-4 weeks. You’re in the dark just making up shit. Check out the tweet I posted in this thread. They aren’t even running sound defensive principles. It’s a broken defense from the top down. They’re asking pass rushers to play zones and it’s a mess. This has been organizational malpractice. The Eagles didn’t give Byard a ton of money either. They traded for him and can cut him this year with only 700k in dead cap. He was a rental because they shit the bed in their plan for S this season.

The only think in your post that was correct is that Bradbury has lost a step. Slay rarely gets targeted this season. It makes sense why. There are better matchups all over the field vs LBs safeties and nickel and dime corners. And again…it’s all being run with confusion and different guys bowling assignments. The issues here are coaching with a mix of personnel decision incompetence and none of that is seen in the people you called out. Byard has actually been one of their better secondary players.

You have no idea what you’re talking about in football conversations.

kinda bummed about the Browns matchup. Out of the Colts, Jaguars and Texans- the Texans were the team I least wanted to see...

They have one of the best LT in the game in Tunsil

2 good DE pass rushers- Anderson is really good and Greenard has 12.5 sacks too- the tackles of the Browns will be severely tested. They matchup well in those 2 ways.

I think the Browns will be able to shut down the running game- if the Texans try and run it---- Stroud isnt afraid to test the DB's who will be in a lot of man coverage - as they always are.

I think this matchup comes down to 2 things:

1.) can Garrett regularly beat Tunsil and the double teams - and if he doesnt- will he get help from Zadarious, Okoronkwo and Wright rushing the passer?

2.) Can Flacco continue to make big plays but avoid the big mistake?

@Shanemansj13 @dtgold88 what do you guys think?

And it starts

its not a bad job.....there are a ton of QB's in this draft- and they have some weapons. A lot to fix- but there are some building blocks there.

The Panthers job is the one that I think is going to be the biggest challenge. Picking the wrong QB and having no first round pick is rough.

I am trying to remember the last few teams that really gave up a solid amount to move up- seems like it hasnt worked out great for the Panthers, 49'ers, and Bears to some extent.....of course the 49'ers made it all moot with Purdy---and Fields still has a shot. I think a few teams would have interest in Fields if the Bears moved on.
