It's the head coaches responsiblity to make roster moves?
It's the head coaches' responsibility to make OC and DC changes? The only thing he can do is relieve the OC/DC of his duties and find another coach on the roster to replace him or do it himself.

This is what Steeler fans and others do not get. It's not Tomlin's fault. It's the shit FO's fault. If they are winning with bad play callers and shit roster that actually means Tomlin is a greater coach than people believe.

Siriani also has arguably the most talented roster in the NFL. Doesn't mean he isn't a top coach bc I believe he is a top coach. Tomlin is as well. He has proved that

110%. You spend 16-18 hours a day with these people. Head coaches with clout they’ve earned (aka win a Super Bowl and go to two) have a lot of say in the staff that gets hired. A lot of say. When that isn’t provided, coaches walk. It’s why Doug Pederson is in Jacksonville and not Philly.

That’s right now. This dude Canada has been a shit show for two seasons prior to this one. The Steelers haven’t amassed 400 yards of offense in over 50+ games haha. This issue didn’t just creep up. It’s been an issue.

Cowboys have a stacked roster. They lost to the only two teams with winking records they’ve played. The Bengals have a stacked roster before Burrow’s cap hit explodes. They’re in last place. Talent is only one part of the equation.

The fact that we dismiss coaches because of their talent is why we get fluke trash like Dabol, Dick Jauron, Ray Rhodes, etc…winning COTY awards. You know who the real coach of the year is every year? That dude on the stage in February who hoists the Lombardi Trophy.
