And they lost a guy who was arguably going to be better than them (he was breaking out before injury as a true frosh) but is still hurt (Jordyn tyson)

Honestly I’m not sure, I wondered the same thing. I’m not drinking the koolaid yet but I saw more athleticism on the field thsn I have in a while and every kid knew exactly what he was doing for 60 minutes. That’s a lot to be excited about. SMU good enough to test the defense, we will know more in a week.

A lot of people are on him for still calling the defense but that’s not really fair, if you are the best at something you should continue until you can turn it over. I’m sure he will at some point but he has so much work to do getting the toughness needed back in this team. I think he is making progress.

The dude is just non stop energy. Talks about recruiting and how much he loves it. You can tell he means it, not everyone has that. He was basically the only move for OU to try to keep some identity, really hoping it works out. I know it was Ark St but I don’t know that they could have had a better start, the entire game was solid.
