3-0 man and they gave up 8 points. Still early in the season, every team has kinks to workout. The only thing that matters early in the season is staying healthy and grabbing wins
No doubt. Don’t get me wrong. Hurts play has been a very exciting development. The Eagles really don’t have a taxing schedule this year. They’re kind of chasing a standard. I just hope they’re prepared when they have to answer the bell.

You said Baltimore choked last week......rather than give Tua credit for an amazing 4th quarter.

Both can be true. In order for a team to choke, the other team has to take advantage of the mistakes.

So, Baltimore choked and Tua was good enough to take advantage.

Aren't all the key player locked in for multiple years?

No doubt the future's looking good.

Do they still have alotta talent down in the minors? I'd take the bus downtown (Akron) to Canal Park to watch the Aeros (now the dumbass rubber ducks or something like that) play so I could drink and not worry about driving.
Nearly all are locked in and many not even close to arbitration eligible. Only one I can think of close to FA is Rosario (after next season) and Bieber might be 2 years.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Bieber.

If he wants every last dollar he is prob. gone.

Not sure if they will deal him this offseason or not - I am sure they will work on an extension and if they are miles apart there is a real possibility he is dealt.

While that would be a major bummer- how many pitchers on long term deals actually work out? I would say 40% or less.

one of the good things is- that with all of the super young taelt- they really dont have many needs else where on the diamond and barely anyone is making money. They will have the flexibility to sign Bieber- but is it a good deal?

we shall see.

Think I mentioned this earlier in thread and agree 100%. If he listens to his agent and goes for the last dollar he is likely and should be gone. When? would suck, but if he keeps pitching like this his value will never be higher than this offseason.

Honestly not even sure I'd keep him if he'd take a Jose type deal. Jose is very likely to still be producing during the entire deal. I'm not sure I'd be confident any pitcher would produce for 7 years. Now if he wants something like 3-4 years and $100 mil?

More curious what they do with Rosario as I'd be shocked if Bieber gets a long term deal. If Rosario took less than market value like JRam I do think that could be worked out....then again they might think they can make due with Giminez and one of the youngsters at SS/2B

Future never been brighter in the Dolan era.

5 years 125 would be pushing it- and I am not even sure- putting 5 years on his current deal is a good idea for a total of 7.

If we tore up his next 2 years and gave him a total of 5 years 110 I could see it getting done.

sounds about right...and if offered something like that and he said no I guess it's time to check out the Dodger kids and who we could get.
