funny I said this and the Guards went on a 5 game losing streak that was inside of a stretch where they lost 8 of 11 games.

Young teams- esp. when they encounter injury issues, tend to be very streaky.

Looks like they are pulling themselves out of it and can hopefully go back in the other direction again.

I gotta say- I am amazed they lost 8 of 11 and still have a 1.5 game lead.

Tough current stretch of games for Twins and WSox is helping. Need to take care of business tonight. Have you heard who is starting?

He is a good prospect- but they have kind of rushed him back from injury- and now putting him in without being stretched out.

I doubt- even if he pitches well- he goes more than 3 innings. 4 max.
