8 games in September against the Twins though. The Guardians have had like 3-4 incredible comebacks vs. the Twins but have mostly been outplayed by them.

A young team is a double edged sword- I can see them playing with no pressure since there were no expectations- or now that they are the favorite- getting tight. They have had a few streaks this year where the bottom fell out- 5, 7 game losing streaks, losing 9 of 12....

I just hope they avoid getting tight and a protracted losing streak.

funny I said this and the Guards went on a 5 game losing streak that was inside of a stretch where they lost 8 of 11 games.

Young teams- esp. when they encounter injury issues, tend to be very streaky.

Looks like they are pulling themselves out of it and can hopefully go back in the other direction again.

I gotta say- I am amazed they lost 8 of 11 and still have a 1.5 game lead.
