A lot of teams. Love's problem isn't that he suddenly can't or forgot how to play. He's a non ball dominant player playing alongside 2 ball dominant players in Lebron and Kyrie. It's easy for him to be forgotten by the other 2.

The same thing used to happen to Bosh in Miami. The difference is that Bosh could still impact the game on the defensive end of the floor where Love can't.

Love is not a winning basketball player. Any team that wants to build around him should take a look at how good Minnesota was with him. At his salary, I suspect he is untradeable.

Pacers may trade for him given that it's almost a given that PG13 leaves.

In the context of this Warriors team, LeBron has not been on a super team.
In the context of the league over the last 15 years, he's definitely been on 2 super teams.

Yeah, he just got out superteamed. For comic book nerds: Iron man isn't as super as Superman, but he's still a super hero.

The Cavs are Iron Man.

I agree. Lebron the GM gets the blame here. Lebron the player did what he could do. The rest falls on the roster that HE put together.

Yeah, he put it together, so obviously he gets some the blame. But again, no one saw KD to the Warriors happening.

Solid chance that without that, the Cavs are celebrating a 2nd title and everyone is saying what a great GM Lebron is.

Agree again. But he wanted his boys to get paid (JR and TT) who have his boy (Rich Paul) as their agent. Conflict of interest. It's clear that Cleveland needs to adjust now outside of Lebron and Kyrie. But what moves can they make? Because those contracts are going to be hard to move. The only one is Love that will garner significant interest.

Love isn't a guy you build around, he's a guy you add. That doesn't mean he's not a winning player, it just means he's not a #1. If the Cavs played the same type of ball movement offense that the Warriors play, his numbers would be much better because he wouldn't be forgotten about for long stretches like he is with the Cavs.

I doubt that happens without PG-13 signing an extension first. I don't see teams wanting to risk getting him as a 1 year rental.

Agree. The bold is the issue. It's difficult to see what moves they can make that will enable them to beat the Warriors. They can stand pat and still come out of the East, but that likely just means another loss in the finals.

Going to be an interesting off-season in "The Land."

What do you guys think of this trade (works out salary wise)...

Hornets get: Love, Shumpert, Frye
Cavs get: Batum, MKG, Marvin Williams

I think that would be an ideal trade for the Cavs. Batum is short of an all-star, but allows you to still space the floor, similar to what Love does. You can play him between the 2-4. MKG gives you a solid defender, and an upgrade from Shumpert.

In your area sure you can see that. But the guy in New Jersey with the Warriors hat on can't make that claim and there a ton of fans like that throughout the country. Those are the fans people are talking about, not the lifelong fans from the Bay area..

Yeah but every team that wins a ring attracts bandwagons, it's not just the Ws. And it's fine, some 10 year old in NJ or Iowa right now has become a Warriors fan for life due to growing up while they are the dominant team. Some keep switching to the next winner, some stick with their first team.

If the Cavs can pull it off, they should. I don't know if it's enough to get them past the Warriors, but it'll get them real close.

The Cavs should consider trading Love to the Twolves for Wiggins.

The big difference in that trade scenario is that the Cavs add better defenders and more ahtleticism, which is what they were sorely lacking outside of Bron and Kyrie.
