And this shouldn't take away from his historic playoff performance. But it will sadly.

Only to people who don't know anything about basketball or don't watch games. Lebron isn't the reason the Cavs are facing a sweep. He's done everything he possibly can.

He's putting up finals MVP worthy numbers.

The Cavs used so much energy last night. LBJ and Kyrie left everything on the court. Can't see them winning tomorrow unless they get huge efforts from the other players. Mainly talking about TT, JR, Shump, and Korver

was thinking the same. the main Cavs guys just about wiped themselves out last night...

And that has what to do with D-Wade having been a finals MVP and a getting a ring before Lebron arrived?

Means Finals MVP doesnt mean much other than a guy playing well for a few games, not an accurate descriptor of overall greatness

As was Wade when Lebron arrived

I disagree. Wade was still in his prime in 2011 and 2012....especially 2011. No way was he out of his prime in 2011. He had just led the league in scoring the previous season. That is a ridiculous claim to make.

Ill give ya Wade, when we acknowledge Chris Bosh averaged 11 points, less than 1 point more than Mario Chalmers, in his postseason career with the Heat

We need to stop labeling that team a Super Team, Bosh is as overrated as any player i can ever remember

Also, after reading through the game thread....

Shame on the cry-baby tin-foil hat posters' incessant bitching about the refs and shame on the rest of you for not calling out that bullshit.

I mean I never thought CB was a superstar. I always looked at him as a star. He was pretty important though. That Indy series in 2012 doesn't go 6 if he doesn't go down in G1 and we likely eliminate Boston in 5 if he was available for the entire series. I believe he came back in G5 or something. His P&R defense was incredible.

Yeah he was annoying. As I told him last night, I felt the Warriors were called for more BS fouls than the Cavs. Refs did not play a factor though.

Which is about how I felt in Game 2. Refs have done a really good job this series, imo.

The no-call on Iggys strip on LeBron's 3 (which was the correct call) should destroy any conspiracy theory about the league trying to extend the series. If there really was a conspiracy, that would've been an easy way to do it.

I think the Cavs manage to win the next one but it would not shock me if that was a backbreaker last night and they go out and get roasted by 30.

He was very decisive whereas the Cavs looked passive to close out that game.

When Kyrie plays like that, has his drives falling like that, and you still lose, well, it's over Cavs. Too much firepower.

It's also perspective of the moment though.

Last year, game 7, Irving LeBron and the Cavs were decisive and Steph Curry was throwing up bad shots.

I would feel better about the Cavs chances if G4 was on Saturday. This is a quick turnaround.

Cavs players not named JR and LeBron combined for 3 for 25 from 3-point land. This is the 2nd-best 3-point shooting team in the league (after Houston).

And people are saying that the Cavs played their best game.

Lebron and Kyrie played great. JR stepped up, nobody else played well offensively. Need everyone to make shots to have a shot.

The Cavs bench (guys that play good minutes) Games 1 - 3 are 5-30 from 3

Yet, it still has nothing to do with D-Wade already having a title and a finals MVP before Lebron arrived.

They need some semblance of defense.

Too many wide open layups under the basket because of defensive breakdowns. Can't even count how many dunks and uncontested layups the Warriors got over the course of the series. Meanwhile, Thompson and Love couldn't even score under the basket.

Let's be honest. With Durant, this Warriors team wasn't losing. But if their D was better, they could have taken a couple of games.

If Paul George goes and joins the Mavs this off-season, is that the same thing as Durant joining the Warriors, because they won a title 6 years ago and Nowitzki has a Finals MVP?
