Not to be a dick or anything but outside of last night, what travel implications are you speaking of? Both teams were stuck in Oakland for 3 days so I don't see why the road team not going to the podium first would matter after game 1 or on practice days. Last night I guess I sort of understand but aren't the Warriors flying to Cleveland as well?

Its always been the way its been done. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but every podium I've ever watched over the last couple decades - until these last 2 games - the road team always goes first.

Anyway, I doubt the Warriors flew to Cle last night with Game 3 still 3 days away.

Re-made a TV show into a full length. Having worked using the creative side of my brain......I want to see original stuff, not lazy bullshit writers just expanding on an old TV show.

You mean like The Gong Show or Battle of the Network Stars? Jeez - who at ABC comes up with these ideas for these POS shows? I would not even be aware of this if not for the ads that they display nonstop during the Finals. What garbage.

Honestly dude I used to watch podium press conferences often but now I only watch it after Heat games for the last few years (when we make the playoffs) but I never really paid that much attention to it. I was always under the impression it was whoever got dressed the fastest lol

I may have overstated the Cavs chances by predicting the Warriors winning in 5 games.

Yeah, I'm not totally sure. I might be wrong. The fact that no media has mentioned it makes me think I might be wrong on this. Those guys would know if it was a thing. I swear I've always seen the road team go first, but who knows.

Games 3 and 4 are now must-win games for the Cavs imo. 3-1 comeback isn't happening this year.

If Steph/KD keep this up, I think you would have to give both finals MVP IMO

Here's another reason you screw yourself by waiting for the playoffs to flip the switch:

The Warriors have played elite defense all year long and earned their reputation of being an elite defense. That has an impact on officiating.

Draymond and Durant get the benefit of the doubt when contesting inside shots because they've earned it over the course of 100 games.

It's going to be interesting this offseason.....a lot of GS players need to be paid. And everybody is saying the right things but we'll see this offseason who takes less and who leaves. Not to mention, the Warriors may lose some depth.

What did you think about the Cavs defense last night?

Pretty much the same. Not great, but overall good enough. There were some really tough shooting fouls that the Cavs can't get caught with.

Again, though, I thought the biggest issue was offense. Especially outside shooting. Have to credit the Warriors for their defense, but if the Cavs are going to win they need their elite offense to actually be elite.

If I had to guess, Durant takes a 1+1 deal on a non-bird rights deal. Basically, he loses out on a few million for one year, but the Warriors retain some cap space. This will allow them to pay Livingston and Iggy. So basically, they'll be the same team for 1 more year. The next off-season is where it will get interesting.

The salary cap is 101 million? So Curry is going to get 30-plus million and Durant will need to take a big paycut from his scheduled 27.7 million.

Well, when it gets to a 3-1 Warriors lead......it will get interesting......we'll see if the Warriors can close them out.
