Here is the thing though.

LeBron didn't play like LeBron this year. He is 34.

You are right. Giannis isn't the best player in the league. But neither is LeBron.

I am taking KD or Kawhi.

If the Raps win (even without Durant), it would be the biggest upset I've seen in my life, for any sport that has a best of series.

Go Raptors!

Were you watching the NBA in 2005?

That was also a big upset, though that Lakers team had problems with chemistry and infighting.

That Pistons team was also on the way up, they were much better than anybody thought they would be.

This Warriors team is at its peak...

They are not at their peak currently. Additionally, Kawhi is a much better player than anyone that was on the Pistons.

One thing is for sure, where Kawhi ends up playing next year matters at least as much as where KD does. Holy shit has he dominated the East in these playoffs. He is maybe as much a target as KD this offseason.

Yep. He plays on both ends of the court.

My friend on FB said if he goes somewhere else....he'd be a huge asshole.

Nobody but GS was going to win the title before the first game ever tipped off. Shame at us for getting tricked into watching this season.

I think you mean Lebron bolted to the west once it looked like Kawhi was heading to an East team.

Here's a good question.

When was the last time a team won an NBA finals WITHOUT what could have reasonably been considered its best player?

I hope they lose but in fairness....it's not like the W's haven't won a title without KD.....

What the happened the last time the best player in the NBA and a bunch of role players went against the Warriors?

They got swept.

The Raptor "others" are comparable to Cleveland's others offensively. But, Toronto is probably the best defensive team in the league. Cleveland was not good at all on that end.
