Nice half. First quarter was Spurs style. 2nd was Miami style. Tied at the half. Game one, Spurs were up 5. Hope Spoles keeps substitution patterns going.

Both teams have missed some layups and threes so that's a wash. Duncan's 5 offensive rebound is the difference right now otherwise Miami would be up 4-6 pts.

I thought the Refs did a good job in the 1st game. I thought the refs were fine in the 1q. I just think they got whistle happy in the 2nd Q. Some of the fouls in the 2nd Q they didn't call in the 1st Q. Even the announcers were saying they need to be more consistent. Has nothing to do with the Heat.

To address the officiating.

LeBron was fouled on about 2-3 of his drives. No calls. he shot 1 FT off a duncan Tech.

MISSED CALLS HAPPEN BOTH WAYS.

There were several missed calls on the spurs in the 1q. in the 2q the refs tightened it up more. The game has been well officiated

Ok. BUT YOU HAVE TO CALL IT, you can't just not call fouls for arbitrary reasons. The heat were getting pushed under the boards in the 1st. Spurs got a ton of OREBS that way. If the refs continued to not call that then that is just as bad as call phantom fouls.

TD gets T for nothing. LBJ and Wade complains all the time they don't get a T. there was no reason for a T there. Most star players complain i understand that but u should only T someone if it gets out of hand. They showed the replay and I didn't see anything wrong with what TD did.

It has been weird bc they didn't call shit in the 1st (especially for Miami) and now they call everything. Miami would probably be up if the officiating was consistent the whole 1st half
