At first I was like "Huh, that Rio guy is kind of good, probably underrated"...then I was like "oh, right, that is why he sucks, driving on all the bigs"...and then I was like "kids got heart trying to block Duncan in the restricted like that".

Finally I arrive at the conclusion he has great heart but that may also be a negative.

Rio is one of the most frustrating players of all time. Sometimes he looks so good.. and the other times he looks so bad. But for what it's worth.. the dude is clutch. Big time money shooter.

I kind of see him as the Heat's Derek Fisher (but not as good at flopping). I used to get frustrated as heck with Fisher's shortcomings and then he'd nail some huge shot or make some other big play and all would be forgiven.

Once I just accepted that this was how it was going to be with him, he became one of my favorite Lakers.

One thing is for certain about game 1.... the inevitable overreaction it will cause from fans and media alike.

If Parker struggles in a loss it will be "his ankle is doomed, the Spurs have no chance".
If Parker plays well in a win it will be "The Spurs cannot be stopped, they might sweep"
If Ginobili plays well it will be "Mia has no chance with Ginobili actually playing well this time around"
If Wade plays well it will be "SA has no chance with Wade actually playing well this time around"
If LeBron goes for 45 and loses is will be "If the Heat can't win that game, they won't win any"
If the Spurs bench goes for 50 points and they win it will be "Heat has no bench, no chance"

Etc, etc, you get the point.

I am banning myself from TMZPN and TMZPN like coverage, I can count the minutes I have watched/read this year on 1 hand but there will be a shit ton more of it these 2 weeks.

Last year was hilarious, the series was over after every game.

I'm gonna go out a limb here and say that the Spurs probably disagree.
