Possibly.

And you said it.

How are the guys like LeVert and Dinwiddie, who are budding stars in their own right going to react when KD and Kyrie take a lot of their touches AND blame them when things don’t go as planned.

Yep and that's another parallel to the Clips last year. The Nets showed well in the bubble for the same reason the Clips made the playoffs they season before getting Kawhi and PG...they had a a bunch of guys who just went out and played harder than their opponents and never quit.

While Harden is the star and name player.....it would cost them Dinwiddie and LeVert and probably more.....BK's depth would be decimated in a trade for Harden.....and Dinwiddie and LeVert could both be excellent as key role players.....to KD and Irving.

Don't buy trade at all.....but I could see Harden in Philly.....playin with Embiid.

I'm going with Wolves/Pistons with the Pistons taking it in 7.

But in reality Lakers over Heat (again) in 6.

Looks like everyone is picking the Lakers and the NBA rarely has big surprises so assuming reasonable health it will be the Lakers. The East hard to say could be any of Milwaukee, Boston, or Brooklyn. Maybe the Heat again.

If the Sixers can pull a move like this off, honestly, they'd have a good shot

Harden and Embiid as the top 2 players wouldn’t go well.

Embiid is a throw back big. He needs the ball in his hands and won’t be content being a run runner on Harden pick and roll all day.

Harden would have to be willing to change to make a partnership like this work. To date, he hasn’t been.

As it stands right now is there any reason to believe the Lakers wont repeat?

This logic has not failed me yet (though @msgkings322 kind of forced me to add the 2nd Cavs go around caveat) but until someone other than GS knocks him out since Cavs 2.0 I'm not picking against Lebron......

LAL over Boston

If I have to pick a team today, I think I am taking the Celtics. Not sure why. Just think they are being mostly overlooked right now. And they shouldn’t be.

Lakers beat them in 6.
they were my pick, too. Didn't say the games but 6 seems right.

Yeah, it feels homeristic picking the Lakers, but I picked against them (Lebron) last year and fortunately (for me and other Lakers fans)...he proved us wrong again. lol

I agree that there are reasons that the Lakers might not repeat (the fact that it's very difficult to do being one). There just don't seem to be any to believe in. At least none that a healthy Lebron can't overcome.
