I understand the rule. My thing is LBJ was not close to the restricted circle so therefore the initial review to see if he was in or out was not needed.

I get once they decide to review then they can decide if it is a block or charge which I'm fine with. My problem is when a player is not close to the circle then why go to the review? Was it because you knew your refs likely missed a crucial call?

I get your logic.

But the premise still stands - the refs initially made a bad call in this case (one of them did), but they were able to go through and fix it to the correct call. Isn't that the ultimate goal - to have a efficiently officiated game with minimal errors?

Exactly, he wasn't in position
Also, "even if LeBron was outside the restricted area, under NBA rules, the officials can look at the replay to determine if the defender was in legal guarding position".

Lol

I disliked Draymond for the nut shots in 2016 - something he seems to have strayed from.

But love the shit talking and getting under player's skin. Same shit Rodman used to do.

But as JVG said, if the refs can change block/charge calls in the final 2 minutes then why not take it further and give coaches 2 challenges in the final minutes to challenge all the shit calls these refs constantly screw up late in the games?

Why is block/charge the only type of foul call that can be changed in the final minutes?

Don't know if you guys talked about this one, but by rule, Kevin Love should be suspended

Refs out here creating their own rules.

Unreal.

Lebron was so far out of the restricted area that there was no need to ever go to the replay

Yes, this is a good point.
