Both were on the floor, but both were not shooting well and KD was on fire.
At some point you need to make the others be the ones to beat you.

It doesn't matter if they aren't shooting well. This isn't a streaky shooter like JR Smith. They're all time greats so the rule for guys like that is you don't leave them ever. All it takes is one shot and they're back in it. The Cavs strategy was ok last night. Not perfect, but given their make up, about as good as you can hope for. They defended Curry well last night, bothering him off ball a lot, making sure he was shooting over size. Thompson was characteristically cold so I'll give you that. But its still no reason to leave any of them to double KD. Their main problem was KD was just going to make anything and everything last night. He was dialed in. So it really didn't matter if they got the right switch on them or not.

Leouttatown really needed to shoot better from the field last night. KD had a decent game, he could have done more though.

Also, apparently Max Kellerman's advocating that Lebron's going to win Finals MVP. That guy's definitely giving Stephen A. a run for his money as biggest idiot.

Yeah, with the way he's been playing, if this series went 6 or 7 games, you could make a pretty strong case.

But with this looking like it's going 5 at best...you really can't.

I remember Lebron putting up great stats as well, especially compared to the Warriors in 2015 and he still didn't win. In order to win Finals MVP on a losing team, I feel like your stats would have to eclipse the best player from the title winning team by a significantly wide margin. Even if the Cavs were to somehow push this to 7, with what Durant's doing, Lebron's not getting Finals MVP unless Cleveland wins.

KD's having an incredible Finals so far. 31.7-10.3-6.7 & shooting .559 from the filed & .474 from downtown. LeBron is doing what he always does, putting up big #'s. 37.7-9.0-10.7 / .525 & .353. Good #'s for any any player in the Finals. But KD's been better.

I think LeBron is worn out. I don't think he could put together 4 monster games in a row w/ the mileage he has this year.
