This is closer to reality than normal for you, but I sense some complacency from the Dubs this year. Also, and this is serious, Iguodala matters. He's kinda like Harper on the 90s Bulls

Iggy hurts but I still think they need a bench upgrade if they want to 3-peat. Im assuming Lebron is gonna team up with Leonard or Davis or over there with Houston next year. Warriors can't win with this personnel next year IMO.

Why do you take a perfectly good post and then ruin it with stupid like this? LeBron MIGHT go to Houston, but Davis ain't going anywhere (and neither is Kawhi probably). Warriors need to upgrade the bench sure but Iggy is their 6th man so the bench is Iggy, Livingston, Bell, McCaw, Cook next year. They may resign McGee. West retires, Looney gone probably, so they bring in someone good who wants a ring. Not a problem.

Felt like Cleveland played pretty decent there for awhile, getting what they wanted on offense at least though much like the Boston series, their RPers aren't hitting the open shots. But Golden St played better than they did in game 1 and looked like they were just cruising along, never busting out a full effort. They were doing juuuuust enough to keep a manageable lead until they pushed it out of reach in the 4th. Cleveland would make a small run and GS would just hit a 3 or something and that would be the end of it.

The Lakers team was a pretty stacked roster.

We seen what Kobe does when he plays with mediocre players.....He doesn't make the playoffs.
Kobe took Kwame Brown & Smush Parker to the playoffs in the WEST against teams like SA & OKC with a young KD & RW.
I wonder what Kobe in his prime could've done in the EAST today against the Raps & Pacers.. SMH

Pfttt.Anywhere Lebron goes its gonna be a STACKED team. We know this already so no point in pretending. If he goes to Houston they wipe GS off the court. If he goes New Orleans with Davis they beat the Warriors, If he goes to Philly, I bet we see Leonard in Philly they get to the finals EASY and beat the Warriors

They were good role players, that were fit to Jackson's scheme. And lol @ pointing at Rodman's offensive stats. The guy was a force on D and rebounding. The game was also different then -> it was important to have an effective big man, when you might have to get through Patrick Ewing and O'Neal in the playoffs.
True enough, Rodman was SOLID on defense, but we've never equated the 3rd star of a superstar as a someone who was only a defensive specialist.
And speaking of the triangle, as I've said on here before, I think something like that offense would help the cavs role players. A ball movement offense with everybody touching the ball constantly, instead of the LeBron, and space the floor offense. Not to go on a sidenote, but the offenses that Jordan, and LeBron plays in should be taken into consideration when we discuss their stats

Plus it was a different NBA. Boston was the only "superteam" and I believe KG just came off his tore ACL in the previous season before the Lakers beat them in the 2010 finals.

Lakers finished with the 2nd best record in the league and Boston finished 4th in the east that year because they played Miami in round 1.
I told you KG & PP weren't in their prime anymore. SMH

Different game then. It's another reason you can say LeBron and MJ co-GOAT. MJ was GOHE (his era), LeBron is GOHE. Wilt, Kareem, Magic all can say GOHE.

Is the quarter the new version of Slam ball?

I can’t even look at highlites of Slamball because I don’t want to accidentally see the highlight of the dude almost lose his leg in the second season(??). That was beyond nasty.

Boston was getting old. They weren't really a superteam after '08

Boston wasn't really a super team in 2008 either. They had two series go 7 games and the other two went 6 games. They were veteran stars who had just enough to win a championship.

Jordan faced plenty of quality teams all throughout his tenure in the east. Great teams full of talent. Maybe he hasn't played anyone on the level of this Warriors team but doesn't mean he couldn't beat them.

And NewsFlash, I would HARDLY Call the Warriors "unbeatable" this year. ROFLMAO. MJ Bulls would pounce on this team like their mama stole something from him.

Last years Warriors team, Maybe a bit of a struggle. Regardless Ive seen better teams in the past than these Warriors.

And you act like its only been the Warriors that Lebron has lost to in the finals. Jeesh

Well, the other team outside of the Mavs for one season which everyone acknowledges is a black mark on Lebron's career, was the Spurs. Do you want to go down that path? Because that's a team that's better than any team MJ has faced in the Finals as well.

And I'm saying this is a pro-MJ guy whom I think is better than Lebron. I just think the Finals record that Lebron has/will about to have in 3-6 needs further dissection.

This.

In the end, people are always going to be split on whom was better - MJ or Lebron. First, they're both entirely different players. Second, as you've pointed out, played in completely different eras. The offense that Lebron plays in is always formatted around him which is the reason you see the numbers you see (that's not a knock because it's rare that an offense is designed around 1 player). But MJ played in an era that was more focused on half-court offense and post play; which is rare in today's NBA that's more run and gun 3-point shooting.

I personally don't think Lebron is better than MJ, but I'm more than willing to concede that Lebron's the best player we've seen in the last decade and it not being close.
