I told him his life would be no different once the confetti settles.
After Wednesdays parade, it will be out of the news as fast as any other sports championship.

...Kyrie has to continue to get better defensively----- but NO ONE has the combination of both finishing and shooting that Kyrie has in the league....NO ONE....no one can finish like that at the rim- AND have the mid range game AND have the 3 pt game. HE is one of the - if not the most versatile offensive player in the game. His game really is starting to remind me of Kobe's in some ways.
oh by the way Wiggy Congrats....... Now back to the topic. I disagree. Westbrook is right there with both Finishing and Shooting. I think Irving is a smarter player where Westbrook puts up a lot of bad shots.

I like that comparison. He has that Killer Instinct like Kobe. That is the one knock on James. Dont get me wrong James wants to win but he doesnt have that look. Like Last night Irving wanted to take that last shot. He did it right in Curry Face.

Westbrook doesn't shoot the three ball near as well as Kyrie.

The end result of went down will be remembered as historic, no doubt, but it's being way overblown because it happened for Cleveland.

Overblown? Stop w/ that bullshit. The Cavs just beat the greatest regular season team in NBA history & were down 3-1 in the series & brought a title to a city that hadn't seen 1 since 1964. And the only way you can even attempt to rationalize your disappoint is to say something asinine like that. This is for you turnup...Scott Van Pelt said this last night about LeBron...

Game 7- on the road- against the team with the best regular season record in history- 73-9...defending champion....playing the 2 time MVP who many thought had taken his crown...playing for a 52 year championship drought-- going down 3-1 - facing a historic deficit NO TEAM HAD EVER comeback from

history was made.

Well said. The man dances to a different beat than old school guys and left or had to leave Cleveland to win his first title and then left the organization that thought him the way and helped get him two titles to go back and do something epic.

Mission accomplished. He did it in terms of how this generation thinks and operates. He did it his way. Many people can't get their arms around that. He is a decent person who gives back and holds his family and friends in high regards.

This win gives him something Jordan never had....a win for the hometown team against an epic opponent, recovering from 3-1, winning game 7 on the road and titles with two different franchises.

He has an ego and does things for him, but he is a helluva a talent and just cemented his legacy with something no one expected. And he is still in his prime. Goat well within his reach.
