LeBron is a great player.
LeBron played a great series.
He's played better.
I can see why Cavs fans think it was his best basketball but it wasn't.
Let's remember, while he was in Miami they were too busy burning jerseys and hating him vs actually watching him play.

Can't stand the guy, but i'll NEVER argue that his best years were as a member of the Heat...

That imo is a no-brainer...

My biggest pet peeve this series was GS (especially Curry, Iggy and Klay) and their terrible passes. Its like they thought they were the Harlem Globetrotters. they would pass the ball around the neck or behind the back, kept trying to make it fancy and it always ended in a turnover.

LeBron James Reveals 'Secret Motivation' to ESPN's Dave McMenamin

"People thought it was because Steph Curry was being considered the better player than him," McMenamin said. "It turns out he told me that when he left Miami—people who he thought he had strong, trusting relationships with—someone told [him] 'you're making the biggest mistake of your career.' Basically, he felt taken for granted. 'Look, I just gave you four years of my prime, and you're not going to be comfortable with my decision, to root me on? You're going try to make me feel bad going out the door?'"

James did not divulge who the source of his motivation was. Mike Wise of The Undefeated (half-jokingly) called out Heat president Pat Riley, but it was not confirmed by James or McMenamin.

The relationship between Riley and James has been the subject of speculation for the past two years. Many took Riley's "no more smiling faces with hidden agendas" quote from last year as an oblique shot at James. However, in a Sports Illustrated profile written by Lee Jenkins, James referred to "the great Pat Riley."

suck it long- and suck it good Mr. Riley...mwahahahahahaahahahahaha

Well this goes down as one of the greatest performances of all-time, not just for Lebron. He has had better individual games in the Finals maybe but collectively this was an epic serious for him. It was amazing to watch.

I don't blame anyone for not wanting him to go, the best player in the world gave you 4 amazing years, who would want him to go but obviously some people were a little too butthurt about it. Well Lebron did what he had to do and that's all that matters now. :suds:

More drama.
James was a douche that summer.
He took what the Heat gave him for granted.
Treated Riley like a monkey.
A NORMAL person would EXPECT to not be pampered/ass kissed after what went down.

They often played like it was game 12 vs Sacramento.
Cavs were far from great or often even good.

Kyrie was phenomenal. LeBron never in his career has received more help- and has never needed more help than he did in this series and that he got from Kyrie. Truly a virtuoso performance.

Obviously LeBron made the correct decision coming back to Cleveland.

kyrie irving totally outplayed steph curry the mvp. think about that.
I agree, Im more of a Irving fan then a Curry fan now. Irving has a chance to be the best PG in the league. Just needs to stay healthy.

Kevin Love came up with the biggest defensive stop of the entire NBA season

Kevin Love's defense saves the day vs. Curry!!! LOL.....that was ridiculous!!! Love moves his feet- makes Curry give it up---- Curry gets it back- tries to up fake, dribbles, shoots- bricks!!!

who would have thought- KEVIN LOVE with the HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE defensive stop vs. Curry in the last minutes of the game!!!!

The end result of went down will be remembered as historic, no doubt, but it's being way overblown because it happened for Cleveland.

...Kyrie has to continue to get better defensively----- but NO ONE has the combination of both finishing and shooting that Kyrie has in the league....NO ONE....no one can finish like that at the rim- AND have the mid range game AND have the 3 pt game. HE is one of the - if not the most versatile offensive player in the game. His game really is starting to remind me of Kobe's in some ways.

I told him his life would be no different once the confetti settles.
After Wednesdays parade, it will be out of the news as fast as any other sports championship.
