It's splitting hairs for me
Lebron certainly put up the numbers to deserve MVP and it isn't a travesty that he won it

Again my opinion - I felt Irving was more of a spark to get Cleveland back in some of these games
He was clutch in the 2nd half in tonight's game

Sometimes it's not always about the numbers

Basically this reads to me "Lebron got the team there, did most of the work, and one of his teammates finally stepped up on the big stage and put some decent games together, so HE should get the MVP"

If you blow a 3-1 lead in the finals (Biggest Choke in history) it was ultimately an epic FAIL year. Not a success. With 2 of the last 3 games on their HC? :L

Hmmmm, I said they had a good Season.

Yes, they failed in their ultimate goal.

Gotta be a mixed bag being on different ends on two different historical events.

They choked away a 3-1 lead.

But, they still made history for those 73 regular Season wins.

Tonight was exactly the type of game that was tailor made for a player like Bogut...where he would have made a huge difference for the Dubs..especially on the glass, blocking shots and setting screens.

Although most people here won't admit it...but he was definitely missed.

He was. But you can't use injuries as an excuse.

i agree LBJ will never beat MJ but he just helped himself to be considered in the top 5 when its all said and done. great championship.

Not sure they choked. Cavs wanted it more and played good defense. Old bball saying.. U live and die by the 3.

GS got blown out 6-7 times in the playoffs. If OKC doesn't choke GS isn't even playing in the finals.
I think with the absence of Drey in Game 5 we saw the emergence and maturation of a Super Star.

Irving found his grove.

Lebron was the leading scorer for both teams in the 4th quarter

He almost outscored the Ws by himself in the 4th

but he did shy away from stepping up in the 4th quarter and watched everyone else score.....apparently
that has always been his problem. he is who he is. he wont change.

Yeah but who's gonna remember that part? That's really the whole thing in sports. No props for coming in second...

this series made me an Irving fan. guy was insane. when cavs needed a basket he made it. LBJ is who we thought he was. Great player, struggles at end off games and doesnt take the big shots.

I agree. For all that LeBron did in the deciding game, he still only shot 37.5%, which is pretty terrible. He was bailed out by the fact that the Warriors shot way below their average as well.
