We need some vets to mentor the kids. I don't want us to run out a starting 5 of early 20-something's. We need at least one guy in the starting lineup that is 27-28 that can help mentor them. I'd love Jimmy Butler at the 3, he'd be ideal and a better player from opening night then either of the youngsters we could end up with at #2.

Short term, Butler would be better.

But, I would wait until draft night...

I have a feeling that Rich Paul is gonna punk the 76ers out of picking Simmons.

So, you might be better off just signing a guy like Deng or Johnson.

If it were Simmons I wouldn't trade it at all. Ingram doesn't strike me as being in the same superstar mold as Simmons. He'll be good, but I'd take Butler and a lower 1st round pick for next season and the short term future.

I originally had GS in 6 but my gut feeling is that the series won't end tonight.

I never understood the GS in 6 picks....Cleveland was of course going to be a tougher matchup with Kyrie healthy. GS in 5 made more sense in some ways (home court), and might have happened if Draymond had been there

I'd have to say that's a significant notch in the belt. No team has ever come back from being down 3-1 in a Finals. To do it against this team would be significantly impressive. And at this juncture, we can't even say that it was Lebron's team that helped him out as the only consistent help he's had is from Kyrie, and that's about it.

If some how Cavs win this it be in the Top 3 greatest Finals Victory. being down 3-1 and doing it against the defending champ who beat you last year.
