I was thinking the same but under his stats it says "NBA" even though the teams names were different. As long as it doesn't say "ABA" then it's all good I'm pretty sure.

Close to 8 seasons in the NBA Eastern Conf
Close to 5 seasons in the NBA Western Conf

So he is eligible.
