I love Mikal, but I think his ceiling is closer to Jaylen Brown than say Kawhi.

So give me the package that includes a pick who could have a higher ceiling, and will be under team control for a lot longer.

Herro would have to be part of it, but isn't really a fit with Simons and Sharpe. I doubt Portland has any interest in Robinson's contract, and Oladipo has a player option (and is damaged goods). Tradeable picks would be 2023 or 2024, but then all the way out to 2027 and 2029.

Gotta think there will be better offers.

Some team must have given him a guarantee either he'll be drafted or a situation like the Lakers did with Reaves where they told him they for sure will sign him so push for other teams to not draft you.
